The Desert beauty

The Sahara desert. Stretching along the whole of North Africa. As far as east to west. The Desert is one of the most hostile extreme places on Earth yet it contains some of the most amazing romantic beauty in the world.

This is a place I would love to visit one day and witness nature at its most extreme and the desolate environment where very little can survive but is of amazing wonder and beauty.

People will say that there is nothing there and just sand after sand. But here there is something here in beautiful unseen natural beauty anywhere else even on the barren sand dunes. Here is natural wonders. Here is a place where you feel purified and human.

But even the empty sand filled desert has alot to offer to the eye. Nature here is just as beautiful and on show as anywhere else. Despite a person being stripped of all comforts and needs being here this is still an amazing place to witness and walk through. Many eyes have peered over the desert from the edge of the Sahara basking in a beauty that is all to itself. You must remember the desert also runs along side where many people live in many African countries. This scorching hot wonder is home to many close by and they wouldn’t change it for the world.

This is a place where you are truly alone and where the footprints and tracks left behind in the sand are almost certainly your own. It is a place where you are welcome and free of all the modern day issues and you are simply human. Being in the desert strips you of all your ego and stereotypes and leaves you just as a person equal to any other in this hostile beautiful world of endless sand dunes and beauty. Here no one is better than another. Only survival and togetherness counts. Whoever you are with – they are your allie. They are the other who shall share the beautiful memory as you wander the vast extreme desert.

The desert makes you thankful for having an unlimited tap of water at home. The desert makes you feel gratitude for living somewhere not extremely hot and the sun is not a fireball upon your skin.

I would love to feel and experience the atmosphere of the desert. After all you only live once. Can you imagine riding a camel early morning or sunset across the desert?  This is something I would to experience. This would be an amazing experience for everyone. To see one of nature’s most amazing areas in all its glory.

The desert at night must be one of the most beautiful views on the planet. I would love to stand at the edge of the desert at night and bask at the stars above on full show.

The stars above shine so bright. Here is the beautiful heavens. You can see the whole of the galaxy above you in this world where hardly anyone goes. But here is nature at its finest. The desert is quiet and isolated but oh so loud in image. There is a paradise here undiscovered. The desert to me possesses amazing romance.
How the desert at night must be magical, mysterious and enchanting and not seen anywhere else in the world. The sands lit up by the beautiful stars above.

I would love to sleep in a tent in the desert one day. Sitting outside my tent under the stars and the cooler softer air after the sun has vanished beneath the sandy horizon. Imagine the view and the feeling of being in the vast desert under the glow of millions of stars.

The heat of the midday sun naturally is unbearable. The scorched environment all around reflects this but here is the extreme wonder. Here is a place on Earth not many people see. The desert is both beautiful and mysterious. The desert is timeless and vast and extreme and wonderous. It is a world man has not damaged. It is just ran by nature with no interferance. Here is magnificent wonder. The desert is both hot and cold in both extremes and here there is nothing but vast wonder as far as the eye can see.

The desert has existed here probably forever and only few creatures can survive.  There is little water by day. A few isolated trees but there is a whisper of God in the rare gentle desert oasis. The breeze which you are so grateful for.

There is beauty in the sunrise of the Desert of the early morning light and shadows being cast at dawn and beauty of sunset as the sun fades over the desert horizon.

The desert casts many different colours by dawn and by dusk. Both the beauty and wonder of red sands to at night a beautiful blue glow of the land before you contrasting the dark night sky.

Here on sunrise the sand can be seen as beautiful blood red and is a beautiful natural glow as the sand is kissed by the sun. How I would love to bask in this and see such wonder and walk on the sands. Nature is the true beauty across the world.

Here is the icy blue glow of night in the desert and the moons glow can be seen over the sands at night bringing a calm feeling to the usual scorching desert. Here under the moonlight the desert seems cool and tranquil and calm. How I would love to cross the desert and bask in this moment. This is a luxury for few and unknown to so many.

The shadows of the sun scatter everywhere by day casting your image on the sand everywhere. The calmer cooler sun of early morning and night can only be described and perfect compared to mid day.

Riding a camel across the desert would be an amazing experience and one no one would ever forget. It is on my bucket list for things to do before I die. I want to live as we only live once and we must make the most of our planet as it is home.

Perfectly designed is the Camel to wander across the desert and carry mankind safely through. Such a rare beautiful land animal and a powerful trooper.  How many men and women has Camel carried over the Desert in time?  How wonderful a creature the Camel is and designed to be able to survive here. The Camel has my true respect always.

The Sahara desert is so vast and big and empty and beautiful. It is a world all to itself and holds a romance all of its own. The yellow beauty of ongoing forever is nothing but where there is truly something. Where there is calmness and truth. The desert holds answers to all mankinds pettyness. The desert is a cruel harsh extreme reminder of how precious life is and how lucky we are. The desert is capable of teaching mankind many lessons.

If I was to wander the desert and be lucky enough to make it across to the other side. I would never take life and people and water for granted again. Never would I moan at the mild English winter. For life in the extreme places is harsh yet still truly beautiful and is an example of nature in all its glory. Those who cross the Desert have my eternal respect forever.
