A winters vision

Once upon a time many years ago I was blessed to look out of my window one early winter morning and seen a world dominated by snow. The rooftops were covered in blankets of snow and the ground was white everywhere.

The winter had begun and shown us its dangerous yet amazing beauty within snow. People were dusting off snow from their cars. A few skids of car wheels could be heard. Snow is romantic yet dangerous and exciting.

Smoke poured out from chimney to chimney and it was like a scene from Victorian England. A snow kissed scene from a yesteryear.

There was icicles hanging from the pipes and the gutters. The pond was frozen and children were daring to stand on the solid ice panicing in case they fell through into icy waters. It was a magical scene which even in the bleakest coldest of seasons there is beauty and amazement.

Everyone wore gloves and hats and scarves to keep warm. People walked their dogs in the silent winter weather. Their breaths appeared from them like a steam engine. The winter morning was of wonder. I looked round and basked in the beautiful morning. Nature was silent and it had become outside a kingdom of Children.

Schools were closed and children stayed in the snow long into the day. All they had to do was enjoy life and play.

Laughter and fun filled the air, snowballs flying everywhere. Children built snowmen and enjoyed the snow in their hands. A winters walk of romance for others and the white glass of ice under their feet.

Snow clung onto the trees and hung onto the rooftops. The sky turning white just like the canvas on the floor.

A Robin pecked at the ice in a bird bath. It was a wonderful scene.

Its a magic time on a magical day from my own history which the memory has always stayed with me.

The beauty of winter, the creeping early winter night, Heralds the arrival of the coseyness of the firelight,

The darkness of Winter, with the cold chill in the air, warmly lit houses everywhere,

Oh the sombre of winter, quickly setting on the horizon does the sun go, soon you will embrace us with your hazardous yet beautiful snow,

Oh the darkness of winter, I feel your hostile frosty glare, your bitter cold presence, yet you install romance everywhere,
Oh everywhere you have wrapped in your blanket of frost, Cold yet amazed by winter, in this beauty I am so lost,

Oh the sombre winter, how I love to be safe and warm at home, by the fireside, away from you winter my old foe who I have always known,

Oh the darkness of winter, of your dangers I am all to aware, icey roads everywhere,
But tonight winter my old foe, upon this night,

Be sure I am safe under the cosey warmth of wonderful firelight

Children in Need

There are so many children who need our help. Children who are disadvantaged, unwell and poverty stricken and in need of mankinds help. May we all come together and help the children as the children are the beautiful future.

Please donate and help the children and help with their support and care of people who help them. There are so many young children who need our help. Poverty stricken children who dont know where the next meal will come from and their home life is uncertain and dangerous.

Some children suffer violence at home and a turbulent upbringing but it us as humanity who can help them be safe and free from harm. There is no worse sight than sadness in a Childs eyes. All children deserve a magical fun childhood and sleep safe in bed at night and have magical childhood memories.

Last Christmas upon visiting a child in hospital I seen a small boy and he was stood at the edge of his ward alone. He looked sad and lonely. He was unwell and was in there for the Christmas period. It turned out he had no home and no family as he lived in care and Christmas for him was a lonely one with no family, warmth, love or presents. How can a child not be allowed to enjoy the true magic of Christmas? But sadly he is not alone across the UK in this situation. It was sad to see his little lost face. I hope this year is better for him.

There was also a small child of about one years old in the hospital. Luckily they had presents all round them but they were very unwell and also in over christmas. But the child needs help and donations from us.

There are many children across the globe like this who need the help and love and support of humanity. Without the donations the children will suffer. They wont get the proper care they need and we cannot allow this to happen to them.

Please donate so the children in hospitals have proper care and toys and clothes and warmth. We can all spare £1 upwards even if it is a little it still helps improve a childs life.

Being unwell is not something that happens to other peoples children. It can happen to anyones children at anytime. I spent time in a childrens ward after an operation and there was toys and games for me to play with. This is how it should be for all children and we can help.

It helps pay for carers and Foster carers and people who will take care of children in need. Surely your money couldn’t be better spent. We all have a heart and can relate to humanity. We all want put food on tables for childrens mouths and help struggling families.

For our children we must never slacken, we must never give in, never let them lose hope and always give them heart. They are the future generation and a generation who will hopefully look after us when we are old just as we looked after them.

Please donate and help the children in need today

Let the scales of good deeds weigh down heavy and may the children grow to appreciate humanity for the love it shows to all people.

Thank you so much

We shall remember

On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month – We shall remember. We shall remember the heroes of world war one. Men who gave their lives so we could live ours.

We shall remember them and their sacrifice. We shall honour them and live free because of them.

Lets all wear them poppies with pride in honour of our beautiful ancestors who gave it all for our today. They gave the greatest of all sacrifices for us to be free.

I applaud all them brave men who charged the battlefields knowing death stared them in the face. They are true heroes. They charged through muck and bullets seeing friends and comrades fall. They charged seeing bodies everywhere and knowing they might never see home and loved ones again while fighting in a war that was not of their own.

They gave their lives for people and freedom. They risked everything and was mighty brave. I applaud them heroes. I applaud the war dead. I am proud of them and forever grateful for the sacrifice them brave men made for us.  They are forever heroes. If I could shake the hand of each of them I would.

Where would we be without them?  They did it for us to be free and live free without fear. They stormed the battlefields to protect their way of life and for the loved ones at home. These poor brave boys and men would of been sat in the trenches wishing they were at home safe but instead covered in mud. But they fought on for the world to live free. They never gave up. They are heroes and nothing less.

The conditions in the trenches must of been horrendous and the worse imaginable. I cannot imagine ever being in this position living so inhumanely. Life on Earth was Hell on Earth.

No wonder so many developed trench foot no wonder so many developed disease and famine. The terror which awaited these soldiers if they popped to look over the top was horror of being shot at. The terrors of being made to go over the top is even worse on a generals whistle right into the flow of enemy bullets. Nothing of any of the war was kind or humane. It was all simple evil.

I cannot even begin to imagine ever being in their situation. It is an unbearable thought and I hope this never happens again. The horrors and the heroes of this war and of this battle should forever be told. It should forever be a reminder of the worse and best of humanity in one place at the same time. It should be a reminder that it can never happen again.

Bombs fell and deadly gas forms thrown and bullets flying through the air but still they never gave up and never lost heart. If there was ever a place which reflected hell surely it was the battlefields of World war one. Death everywhere and blood flowing like rivers. How these men kept going is beyond me.

Over one million horses went to fight the great war and only 62,000 returned. The horses of the great war are also heroes. They fought and struggled and pulled many heavy artillery. They were also victims of the hell war. The film war horse portays this based on the true story of the Horse Warrior. A real hero of the war.

So I honour the heroes of the great war who gave their today, for our tomorrow. Who risked everything for our free world. To live how we do today. To smile and be safe and to know no true suffering. Without their fight our world would be less. Our hearts would be torn and our eyes exposed to terrors unknown to us.

Onwards they fought on, forwards they ran on, through the hell on Earth warzone of the the fields such as the Somme, the true heroes of world war one. In a world where friends die around you and you kill twice as many. In a world where bodies lay around you so common and body parts everywhere. What has mankind done?  What was mankind thinking?  How can the world of been so cruel to so many?

I applaud them true heroes.  We shall remember them, we shall pray for them and love them all for what they did. Wear your poppy proudly and respectfully.

The widespread beauty of a poppy so red, to remember heroes and the war dead, for our freedom they gave it all, for our lives they gave up theirs instead

We shall fall silent on the hour for rememberance and gratefulness and pride and respect. Never will the sacrifice of so many be forgotten.  Thank you so much heroes.  We shall remember them all.

Lest we forget….

The Conservatives Crisis

The Conservative party is in absolute chaos. Surely their reputation has never been so shattered in many many years.

The Conservatives are a group of people where only money matters and people do not. They are group where they benefit and work to please the rich and the poor do not matter. In fact the everyday people are just in the way of their end goal to be as rich as sin.

When a government becomes obsessed with money and doesn’t wish to listen to its people then it is not a government at all.

When a government doesnt in accordance with the will of the people and does what it wants then it is not democracy but a rogue government.

What kind of government and people would turn down the idea of sprinklers in high rise apartment blocks because its too expensive even after the Grenfell Tower fire. I was under the impression money can be replaced and re-earned but human lives cannot.

Have the conservatives brought anything or anyone to justice since the Grenfell tower?  No they have brushed it under the carpet and nothing is said of it anymore. The people are silenced and drip fed lies of everything as usual.

Cutting corners and placing dangerous cladding on high rise apartments to save money is money fuelled decisions over people. What else have Theresa May and these morons actioned to save money?

The conservatives are fuelled with dangerous hypocrisy and stupidity. They to the media care for people in pretence and against terrorism but it is they who fuel the rebels of many.

How can anyone vote or trust Theresa May as the primeminster?  She is too weak and foolish to be primeminster. She reminds me of someone’s annoying foolish middle ages annoying aunty or someone who should be arranging flowers at church.

The woman cannot run a country I wouldn’t even have faith in her to run a bath. If she did manage to run a bath she would be indecisve if she should have one or not.

A true leader has the faith of all the people. Theresa May has got no faith placed in her at all. She is steering the UK into a political iceberg.

A true leader would grant the UK a second referendum as the last one was a political farce. The last one was built on no campaign of either side except stupid quotes. The conservatives can see the UK falling apart, that England is dividing and they do nothing. They do nothing to heal the foreesable rift of leave and remain in the EU. Pretending and lying to the many by saying they are leaving the EU but extending their stay for two more years… Then two more and so forth.

How anyone can trust these fools I mean look at Boris Johnson. He is not all there in his head he shouldn’t be making big decisions and in control of peoples lives and money. He is a fool and an idiot and I wouldn’t trust him with anything at all. This man is threatening to run for Primeminster and has made himself rich from Brexit and its mindlessness.

It is the conservatives who are money makers. They take child tax and working tax benefits from the poorer families and less fortunate so they cant feed their children and give it to the rich and the elite. Money talks and greed flows free within the conservatives.

Theresa May is a fan of fox hunting aka animal cruelty. How can you vote for such a cold heart?  If she doesn’t care for animals she has no heart and therefore no heart or empathy towards the real people.

The conservatives as of late have shown weak they are, how untrustworthy they are, what liars they are and how corrupt they are.

All of a sudden it turns out all the conservative MPs are all sex pests. How many are going to be accused of sexual harrassment now?  I have changed their name to ‘con’pervy tits’ as the party is full of such actions and people. Non of these men should have any power over anyone. They are dirty creepy individuals who dont care for women and equality and think they are too powerful for people to report them. What is Theresa May as a woman willing to do about it as a woman even though her cabinet ministers plot against her… Nothing. She is weak.

In a general election they are known as ‘cons’ which is appropriate as there certain is no pro’s for them just cons and cons is all they are doing to the general public.

The conservatives are lying to us with their promises,  the conservatives are ignoring the real will of the people and care not for people because they care just for money and to make themselves rich.

The Conservatives will happily see us as people die if it makes them rich in doing so. They call themselves a democracy but they dont care for people, they care for themselves. When a government talks about money over people and humanity then they are corrupt

They say they care for people yet millions are unemployed, they say they care for people yet thousonds homeless. Where is the end of all this?

This woman cares not for people and for children but for herself and the rest of the conservative capitalists determined on making money at the expense of everyone else and their struggle through life.

Dont vote for this shambles and embarrassment of a party who just seek to exploit the people and make themselves richer. Dont vote for this shocking disgrace of a party who has shamed British politics with its scandals.

Now is the time for a change and a revolution in Britain where the people matter and are priority number one.

The Desert beauty

The Sahara desert. Stretching along the whole of North Africa. As far as east to west. The Desert is one of the most hostile extreme places on Earth yet it contains some of the most amazing romantic beauty in the world.

This is a place I would love to visit one day and witness nature at its most extreme and the desolate environment where very little can survive but is of amazing wonder and beauty.

People will say that there is nothing there and just sand after sand. But here there is something here in beautiful unseen natural beauty anywhere else even on the barren sand dunes. Here is natural wonders. Here is a place where you feel purified and human.

But even the empty sand filled desert has alot to offer to the eye. Nature here is just as beautiful and on show as anywhere else. Despite a person being stripped of all comforts and needs being here this is still an amazing place to witness and walk through. Many eyes have peered over the desert from the edge of the Sahara basking in a beauty that is all to itself. You must remember the desert also runs along side where many people live in many African countries. This scorching hot wonder is home to many close by and they wouldn’t change it for the world.

This is a place where you are truly alone and where the footprints and tracks left behind in the sand are almost certainly your own. It is a place where you are welcome and free of all the modern day issues and you are simply human. Being in the desert strips you of all your ego and stereotypes and leaves you just as a person equal to any other in this hostile beautiful world of endless sand dunes and beauty. Here no one is better than another. Only survival and togetherness counts. Whoever you are with – they are your allie. They are the other who shall share the beautiful memory as you wander the vast extreme desert.

The desert makes you thankful for having an unlimited tap of water at home. The desert makes you feel gratitude for living somewhere not extremely hot and the sun is not a fireball upon your skin.

I would love to feel and experience the atmosphere of the desert. After all you only live once. Can you imagine riding a camel early morning or sunset across the desert?  This is something I would to experience. This would be an amazing experience for everyone. To see one of nature’s most amazing areas in all its glory.

The desert at night must be one of the most beautiful views on the planet. I would love to stand at the edge of the desert at night and bask at the stars above on full show.

The stars above shine so bright. Here is the beautiful heavens. You can see the whole of the galaxy above you in this world where hardly anyone goes. But here is nature at its finest. The desert is quiet and isolated but oh so loud in image. There is a paradise here undiscovered. The desert to me possesses amazing romance.
How the desert at night must be magical, mysterious and enchanting and not seen anywhere else in the world. The sands lit up by the beautiful stars above.

I would love to sleep in a tent in the desert one day. Sitting outside my tent under the stars and the cooler softer air after the sun has vanished beneath the sandy horizon. Imagine the view and the feeling of being in the vast desert under the glow of millions of stars.

The heat of the midday sun naturally is unbearable. The scorched environment all around reflects this but here is the extreme wonder. Here is a place on Earth not many people see. The desert is both beautiful and mysterious. The desert is timeless and vast and extreme and wonderous. It is a world man has not damaged. It is just ran by nature with no interferance. Here is magnificent wonder. The desert is both hot and cold in both extremes and here there is nothing but vast wonder as far as the eye can see.

The desert has existed here probably forever and only few creatures can survive.  There is little water by day. A few isolated trees but there is a whisper of God in the rare gentle desert oasis. The breeze which you are so grateful for.

There is beauty in the sunrise of the Desert of the early morning light and shadows being cast at dawn and beauty of sunset as the sun fades over the desert horizon.

The desert casts many different colours by dawn and by dusk. Both the beauty and wonder of red sands to at night a beautiful blue glow of the land before you contrasting the dark night sky.

Here on sunrise the sand can be seen as beautiful blood red and is a beautiful natural glow as the sand is kissed by the sun. How I would love to bask in this and see such wonder and walk on the sands. Nature is the true beauty across the world.

Here is the icy blue glow of night in the desert and the moons glow can be seen over the sands at night bringing a calm feeling to the usual scorching desert. Here under the moonlight the desert seems cool and tranquil and calm. How I would love to cross the desert and bask in this moment. This is a luxury for few and unknown to so many.

The shadows of the sun scatter everywhere by day casting your image on the sand everywhere. The calmer cooler sun of early morning and night can only be described and perfect compared to mid day.

Riding a camel across the desert would be an amazing experience and one no one would ever forget. It is on my bucket list for things to do before I die. I want to live as we only live once and we must make the most of our planet as it is home.

Perfectly designed is the Camel to wander across the desert and carry mankind safely through. Such a rare beautiful land animal and a powerful trooper.  How many men and women has Camel carried over the Desert in time?  How wonderful a creature the Camel is and designed to be able to survive here. The Camel has my true respect always.

The Sahara desert is so vast and big and empty and beautiful. It is a world all to itself and holds a romance all of its own. The yellow beauty of ongoing forever is nothing but where there is truly something. Where there is calmness and truth. The desert holds answers to all mankinds pettyness. The desert is a cruel harsh extreme reminder of how precious life is and how lucky we are. The desert is capable of teaching mankind many lessons.

If I was to wander the desert and be lucky enough to make it across to the other side. I would never take life and people and water for granted again. Never would I moan at the mild English winter. For life in the extreme places is harsh yet still truly beautiful and is an example of nature in all its glory. Those who cross the Desert have my eternal respect forever.

The Gunpowder Plot

In 1605 a man names Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up the King of England and Scotland – King James the 1st on the 5/11/1605.

Gunpowder was planted under the houses of Parliament by Guy Fawkes and his fellow conspiritors. Guy Fawkes job was to guard it. But a guard at the houses of Parliament discovered the plot and the gunpowder barrels and Guy Fawkes was captured and arrested and tried for treason. Guy Fawkes and his conspiritors were sentenced to death for treason against the king. The other conspiritors were mutilated and hung but luckily Guy Fawkes avoided his terrible fate. He fell from the scaffold and broke his neck.

Ever since then every 5th of November the whole of the United Kingdom celebrates the death of Guy Fawkes and burns dolls of him on a bonfire and sets off fireworks. Celebrating the death of England greatest terrorist who attempted treason against the first king of the United Kingdom.

But was Guy Fawkes really evil as everyone says?  Was he actually a terrorist against king and country?  Guy Fawkes attempted to kill the king in 1605 because king James 1st had declared death of all catholics as heretics and was hounding them out to their deaths and attempting to destroy the religion. Along with the witch hunt he declared at the time he had declared all catholics in the United Kingdom as heretics and sentenced anyone who believed in Catholism to death.

It seems to me that Guy Fawkes was in fact a Catholic freedom fighter who believed in Catholism strongly. He like other catholics were in danger. The lifes of all catholics in danger.

Coming from a Catholic family myself he fought for the life’s of us and what my family and many more familys believe in. He risked it all so people like my family could live. He fought and died for his people. He tried to stop the king and replace him with the next in line to the throne – a Catholic princess.
So in the eyes of Catholism Guy Fawkes should be a hero,  a freedom fighter. Guy Fawkes fought and died for Catholics. He fought for the religion in England and Scotland and Ireland wouldn’t die and that all Catholics should be free. He was a catholic hero and brought an end to perscution of his people. He stood up for what he believed in and did his best to stop terror of his people.

So Catholics remember remember the 5th of November,  gun powder, treason and plot. Done by a man who fought for your religion and beliefs and your freedom

Queen Elizabeth II: At life’s end

Love her or hate her Queen Elizabeth has held a long beautiful yet turbulent reign as Queen of the United Kingdom. She has weathered many storms in her life as a member of the royal family. She has faced hatred and anger over the years towards her family from the country and from Republican believers but her popularity is as strong as ever. She is the patron of over 600 organizations and charities. History shall remember her as a great queen.

She is the Diamond Queen,  of which the last two generations have only ever seen

She has brought the Royals into the modern day,  she has brought kindness to the world, she has faced many hardships, but nothing has stood in her way

For she is an English rose, she has been blessed and kind,  and of her dynasty the whole world knows

And she is as good as she could of been,  sailing through storms and back into the sun,  the Diamond Queen”

Elizabeth II  was born on 21st April 1926 and has been Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand since 6 February 1952. She is Head of the Commonwealth and Queen of 12 countries that have become independent since she became monarch including Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

HRH Queen Elizabeth has made many historic visits which include a visit to the Republic of Ireland which at one time was not imaginable due to hostilities. She has broken many barriers and created many friendships and granted freedom to many.

This is a picture of the Queen with Marilyn Munroe. She is well respected by many round the world.

She has seen major constitutional changes, such as devolution in the United Kingdom, Canadian patriation, and the decolonisation of Africa. She has reigned through various wars and conflicts involving many of her realms. She has been a figurehead and a beacon of hope to many and the protector of the faith.

Although she shall be remembered as a silent gentle queen who never gave interviews or expressed her opinion she shall be remembered fondly. The popularity of her is very high around the world and she is cherished by millions.

“The children won’t go without me. I won’t leave without the King. And the King will never leave.” – The Queen Mother during the war.

She grew up through uncertain times. She was only young during world war two and although people say she had it easy and would of been hidden away and well protected always remember that the Princess Elizabeth would of been a high priority capture on the enemies targets. That must and would play on the mind of anyone no matter who you are. At the end of the war in Europe, on Victory in Europe Day, Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret mingled anonymously with the crowds in the streets of London. Elizabeth later said in a rare interview,

We asked my parents if we could go out and see for ourselves. I remember we were terrified of being recognised … I remember lines of unknown people linking arms and walking down Whitehall, all of us just swept along on a tide of happiness and recovery”

The Royal family gather on the balcony of Buckingham palace to celebrate the victory of world war two along with Winston Churchill. Elizabeth can be seen on the left as the princess.
Most people of the modern generation will only know her as an old lady. But the Queen came to the throne as a young woman and took the world on her shoulders at a young inexperienced age and must of been hard for her at first. She was a powerful woman in a male dominated society. A society where had she of had a little brother he would of been king over her. The Queen held her own and shone through.

The Queen is a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. She cared for people and loved ones and relatives just like anyone else. she was cherished by her grandfather George V, and during his serious illness in 1929 her regular visits were credited in the popular press and by later biographers with raising his spirits and aiding his recovery. She did her best to take care of him in his time of need and raised his spirits.

Although the Queen has many doubters we must remember she didn’t ask to be Queen, it wasn’t her choice. She was born into the Royal descendancy.  The Queen wasn’t supposed to be Queen. Her father wasn’t supposed to be king. It was originally her uncle who was supposed to be king. But he abandoned the role of King Emperor due to the scandal of miss Simpson and the crown was passed onto the Queens father King George 6th.
The Queen is possibly the most powerful rich woman in the world and the longest serving monarch in British history and maybe even the world.

King George the 6th died of Cancer at the age of 52 and Elizabeth became the Queen of the United Kingdom.

Althought there are many doubters and many negatives to be said of the Royal family there are also many positives. She brings in much tourism to see Royal palaces and castles. She does much good for charities. I once knew a man who worked in Buckingham palace. He was full of praise for the Royal family and often mentioned the sense of humour of the Queen mother and Queen Elizabeth and you can tell that William and Harry have a sense of humour also.

What we must remember is the queen is no different to anyone else. She had been a baby,  a child, a mother and a grandmother just like anyone else. She had done a magnificent job of doing all this and attending to royal duties. Life hasn’t been as pleasant for the Queen as  many would believe.  She has headed and helped many charities. She has attended many meetings and worked for peace for many and independance of many countries. She did all this and travelled far for many years while raising four children.

This gets forgotten about and isn’t always brought to light. Not alot of people are aware of how hard she works. Can you imagine travelling often while raising four children?  This was something she had to do and not something she can easily walk away from. The pressure of being Queen must be immensely heavy.

The Queen does many Royal duties and unlike Diana who was right in the public eye the Queen slips through the net under the radar and does her duties without the worlds attention. She is a symbol for many.

The Queen has done a magnificent job of keeping the Royal family together through many storms. The aftermath of world war two,  the premature death of her father king George the 6th and the divorce of her son Charles and the great storm she faced after the death of Diana. There was a media campaign at one stage against the Royal family but the queen won through and has restored the faith in the monarchy.

She has reached many mile stones. She has become the longest serving monarch and has celebrated her silver, golden and diamond jubilee.

She has achieved plenty as Queen and has helped many. She has done a grand job of what life selected her to do. Now she reaches the age where she is at life’s end I believe she can look back and be proud of her achievements and all she has overcome. She has worked much harder than anyone can imagine.

Here is HRH Elizabeth with her great grandchildren. She has been blessed with family and just like anyone else she can be happy for belonging to a family.

At the age of 91 she can look back and know history shall remember her fondly and now she can enjoy the present of what she has such as her modern family which are a credit to her such as William and Harry and Kate Middleton who will bring in a new era.

So well done to the silent but great and golden Queen for all your devoted work. May God save the Queen. May she be long to reign over us as she has done to almost two generations and may her good work be continued going forward. May she enjoy the rest of her days at life’s end.
God save the Queen.
