The dream world

Our dreams are strange unusual events which take place as we sleep. They are fascinating and unusual of unsual events and goings on. What do our dreams mean?

I find when I remember a dream I wonder what it was for and why did it happen? Why did I dream that? Do dreams have any meanings to my awake life?

The dream world is often a much safer world than reality. Within my dreams the monsters are not as scary as the monsters of reality. Dreams are worlds where we are safe. They are a window to a beautiful crazy existance and goings on but how many of us dont remember our dreams?

I have attempted to keep a dream log but sometimes as I awake the dream fades and I forget details.

Are there different types of dreams? Do we enter sub concious levels and delve deep into alternative outcomes?

Sometimes in my dreams I am talking to people often a good friend as if it is them but the appearance is of someone else. There are people in my dreams I have never ever met before so who are these people? Has my brain recorded all the faces I have seen on the street and replayed them through a dream?

Dreams are fascinating and so hard to figure out. Last night I was with a friend and we was really high up on a diving board. When I jumped I went very very close to the edge of the pool and just missed the side. I have never been in this swimming pool before. Why did this scene happen?

Alot of people dream about what has happened within the day. Often with a twist involved and something unusual has happened added by the dream. Perhaps our dreams can teach us plenty about situations and people.

I was once told in school we dream in black and white and dreams are in silence but this has never happened to me. I remember the colours and the sounds. I remember thinking then and now – which idiot thought of this and how did he discover this crazy theory which to me is not true…maybe this is just his dreams?

Some people face a strange dream issue – re-occuring dreams. Where they have the same dream over and over for nights on end. Why does this happen? Some dreams are friendly enough but can torture your mind if you remember them.

Some dreams are so real, so vivid they are just like real life. They feel like you are awake. Once I dreamt of a big spider in my bed and I ran and moved from it. But it came after me and I was punching it non stop. Then it dissapeared. Everything stayed the same, the darkness, the room and me… But the spider was gone and I was awake. It was as if I was dreaming with my eyes partially open. Can we dream with our eyes open at times and mix dreams and reality?

I remember once in the middle of the night I heard a noise. I peeped out of my bedroom door and seen my brother walking through the darkness. His face was in a trance and he was wrapped in his bed covers. He walked past me down the hall and down the stairs in some sleep walking state. I peeped down watching him walk slow like a zombie. Luckily my mum heard him as well and stopped him and woke him up and took him back to bed. But I often wonder up to this very day… Where was he going?

Dreams are magnificent and deep and out of our control. They teach us plenty and give us ideas and inspiration for life. But nightmares are different again…

Nightmares create the most craziest scenarios and send us through them of scary places, events and people which can have us terrified and talking, moving and sweating in our sleep in fright. Scary events taking place which are fascinating creations of our mind. Why does our mind do this? Why does it play on our fears and securities? I have had many frightening dreams. Some can give us fears and phobias and some nightmares can be on our mind for days to come re-living the event.

So the dream world is mysterious and deep and unknown. It is an unknown unexplored world with no answers as to why these things happen. Perhaps we will never truly know the answers but perhaps a little mystery in life is a good thing. The dream world and sleep world is a fascinating breath taking world at times from reality and enters a world where our imagination is king. So I hope tonight your dreams are fascinating and fun and I hope you dont have nightmares….
