The amazing Autumn

Autumn is a beautiful time of year. It hangs between the end of the summer warmth and the beginning of the cold winter.  All the leaves are brown and begin to fall and there’s not many nicer sounds than the crisp leaves under your feet on a lovely autumn walk. A cold calm cool breeze surrounds you and the fresh cold air enlightens and excites you for the months and events to come.

The jumpers in your drawers will soon be out to keep warm and the socks shall be thicker. The scarfs and hats shall become an accessory and worn by many once again.

The beauty of Autumn sees the nights drawing in and a magical romance arises amongst the people. Soon the British peoples faces shall be lit by candle light and firelit rooms.
Autumn possesses magic. As darkness falls and the cold begins to unveil the people embrace it. Autumn walks in nature which is slowly shutting down are romantic and magical. There is no depression here for the darkness and cold but rather wonder and beauty and adoration of the world between the warm and the cold.

As darkness falls and the night chill rises we shall all consider to light candles or put the fire on once again after its dormant sleep since the winter before. The doors shall be closed and the fire shall warm us.

The colour of Autumn is certainly orange. From the orange brown leaves scattered on the ground,  to the beautiful orange cooling sunset on the horizon.  The firelight sends an orange flicker in living rooms and the orange candlelight burns and also the pumpkin of Halloween adds to the orange effect of Autumn.

The nights draw in and the shadows flicker from candles and the wonder and mystery and spookyness of halloween begins to take over peoples minds.  The excitement and anticipation are king of Autumn.
Autumn has and always will be my favourite time of year. When nature is on a transition before we head into the extremes of cold.
The Autumn walks are the best and the most enchanting of all. They bring refreshment and nice coolness. I can never decide whether I prefer saying Autumn or ‘the fall’ like the Americans.

Come the Autumn the pagans within us probably from our ancestors emerge and we become lovers of nature and the seasons. We bask in Autumn wonder.

May Autumn always be so beautiful and so wonderful and may the magic of Autumn remain forever
